Youth Ministry

Sunday School – Bible based teachings  – Classes for all age groups.

The mission of the St. Paul Church School is to teach, train, nurture, prepare, and recruit adults and children in God’s word for Christian service, emphasizing those Christian principles which are essential for effective Christian growth and participation.

The Church School’s objective is to develop and maintain an atmosphere and environment at Allen so that there may be a teaching of the truth about God in the total involvement of our lives, so that the learner will personally accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and that the learner will become and remain an active member of the body of Christ and actively strive to live in the Christian way.

Acolytes – A wonderful opportunity for young people (age 7 and up) to participate in the worship experience through serving in the Acolyte Ministry. When Acolytes process and recess down the aisle at the proper times, it calls attention to the symbolic meaning of Christ leading the church – which gathers to worship, then scatters to serve.

Allen Christian Endeavor – (ACE) is geared for K-12 and beyond. It prepares youth to be active leaders within the Church and Community, instilling in them that the Bible is still, very applicable in their lives today. ACE’s four principles are Confession of Christ, Service to Christ, Loyalty to Christ’s Church, and Fellowship with Christ’s people.

Angelic Choir – Our children’s choir for ages 2 to 10. All children are welcome!

Junior Usher Board – Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for the youth of the church to serve the Lord as doorkeepers. The Junior Usher Board serves during Worship Service on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

Boy Scouts – One of the more predominant troops in the state. St Paul Troop #0262 is responsible for 5 EAGLE SCOUTS – the highest scouting award. Programs available for both girls and boys of all ages. James Bell, Scoutmaster.
